PDX Emergency Communications Dispatcher
Dispatcher Level 1:
-Dispatching using the online CAD system. Dispatching incidents to Watch Group Members. More detailed requiring protocol training, Two way radio communications ect..
Dispatcher Level 2:
-Dispatching using the online CAD system. Sending General notifications/Traffic Alerts to Members
Dispatcher Level 3:
-Dispatching incident alerts to social media Watch group pages provided by PDX Emergency Communications.
(Not requiring very much training or commitment)
Volunteer Positions Needed
- Community Alerts Dispatchers - Level 1,2,3
- Community Dispatch Supervisors
- Social Media Admins/Moderators for Neighborhood Facebook group pages.
- Community website Managers/Content Developers
- Computer Techs (Intermediate knowledge of windows/Linux)
- Back-up systems Tech
- Two way radio Tech (Motorola Commercial Radio experience preferred)
- Two way radio systems Coordinator (Determines IP Linking points & Node site upkeep)
- Two way radio Local Control Operator (L.C.O) Link point control operator/Supervisor
*All Dispatchers/Volunteers receive ALL Benefits Paid Members receive as well as Bonus Compensation packages*
*If you have experience with CAD dispatching using Computers, Interested in two way radio communications. Or just want to get involved with your local watch group members within a community member ran organization.
